Meet the Goshman family. We enjoyed a mellow morning together at Foothills Park in Lake Oswego. The little ones, Isaiah and Jonas were so sweet and fun. Matt and Kimbra, it was so wonderful to meet you. Thank you for such a peaceful, playful morning. Here are just a few from our day together.
PS: Kimbra, take care of those feet. You were a trooper!

spring is in the air: ronald + brittany
For those of you who know me, you know that Mt. Tabor is one of my favorite Portland places. So, to photograph an adorable couple there on the first day of Spring with the sun pouring down on us felt pretty dreamy. Ronald and Brittany are so much fun, exuding a sweetness peppered with charming sarcasm that had me smiling and laughing throughout this shoot. Just by spending a bit of time with these two, you can see and feel the respect and love they have for one another. And, the way they look at each other will warm your heart. (Brittany had me at first glance with those doe eyes of hers). For you curious cats out there, his striking tattoo romantically marks the date of their wedding. Ronald and Brittany, thank you for a wonderful morning you little lovebirds.
PS: Thank you Brittany for the generous and kind words on your blog! They sent me over the moon.

we are family: carter + kim + jaycee
Nothing lifts your spirits quite like a healthy dose of sunshine and the warm welcome of family. Add to that: the love and support of a big brother (and his signature ribs), a compassionate, caring sister who gets just as excited about food and wine as I do, dancing in the living room with my special niece who so sweetly calls me Mimi, homemade Saturday mornin' biscuits & gravy, big skies, wide open spaces, traveling hand in hand with my husband, and dusk into evening at the San Tan Mountains...Let's just say that all of that makes me feel like I am walking on that dose of sunshine with immense gratitude.
Carter, Kim and Jaycee, I miss you and thank you for a wonderful visit. Seeing you sent me home with a happy heart.

hello march.
Hello March. Hello spring (even though we are a few weeks away from the official beginning date). For this month's collaboration, we decided to hit the road, take advantage of the sunshine, and explore a bit of Oregon. The Pacific Northwest continues to amaze me. In awe of such a landscape, I feel incredibly thankful to have this serene beauty as a backdrop in my daily life. So this month, here's to you Oregon.
