Hello friends. Forgive me – as my posting has been a bit light these days. It’s hard to believe how fast time is moving, and with all my might, I keep trying to slow it down. So here I am holding on, savoring every last drop of summer. I know that the season officially extends into September, but for whatever reason, starting September 1st, my mind shifts and I immediately welcome autumn with open arms.
So, here is the first photo of my own personal countdown to bid farewell to summer (well, my summer at least). There are nine more to follow, and for different reasons, they each bring me a good feeling about the season. Before saying goodbye, savor all the lemonade, lightning bugs, magic hour, salt & sea, sand in your feet, sun-drenched evenings, the list goes on - that you possibly can. Believe it or not, soon those leaves will start to take flight.
